Via Natura circular trail from Jordan's Untermühle
Wildly romantic insights into different biotopes with (countless and) partly very rare animal and plant species characterize the trail. One section leads along the Hahnheimer Bruch, a bird sanctuary of international importance. It is a resting place for many migratory birds on their long journey, a breeding ground for rare bird species, and grey geese and various duck species have become native there.
The diverse perspectives offered by this cultivated landscape are also varied. On a clear day, you can see as far as the Donnersberg, the highest mountain in the Palatinate, and the Odenwald mountain ranges.
Many sections of the trail direct your gaze to the Hahnheimer Knopf and Moosberg vineyards, which inevitably make you want to stop at a wine tavern and enjoy the high-quality wines. Whether it's a "shady spot", a "sunbed" or a stop for refreshments, the relaxation factor is guaranteed in any case! The ViaNatura invites you to observe, discover and slow down.
